Hotel Pet Policy

Please read these policies prior to booking a room




Not every accommodation is Pet-Friendly. Pets are NOT allowed in Hotel Rooms, Miners Suite, Fox Den Suite and Nest Suite. Please ensure the accommodation you have chosen is Pet Friendly prior to reserving.

Your pet is also our guest. All pets must be registered. This includes both service dogs and pets. Emotional support animals are considered pets and the pet fee will be applicable.

Pets must be free of fleas, ticks, or other pests and current on vaccinations.

Do not leave your pet unattended in your room. Pets must also be leashed at all times when on property outside of your room.

     Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture.

Since your dog will be in an unfamiliar environment and occasionally bark, please quiet an excited pet as soon as possible. You may be required to leave if repeated barking complaints are received from other guests. Guests whose dogs create a financial burden on the hotel, such as refunding unhappy guests, will be financially liable for any and all refunds provided to other guests.

Pets are not permitted in the breakfast room. These exclusions do not apply for service animals however service animals must be wearing their service vest for admittance.

Please clean up after your pet and dispose of waste properly and in a timely manner. There are multiple pet stations set up on the property to assist in pet waste disposal.

If housekeeping service is requested, please contact the Front Desk to arrange a suitable time for the housekeeping staff to service your room each day between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

There is a $25 non-refundable pet fee per pet per night. This fee will be charged to your reservation at check-in.  If a guest doesn’t inform hotel staff of their pet, a non-refundable pet fee will be charge to guests’ reservation.  If a guest brings a pet into a non-pet friendly room, the guest will be charged a $200 cleaning fee in addition to their reservation fee.


We allow a maximum of two well-behaved dogs. Unfortunately Pit Bulls and Rottweiler breeds are not allowed. We also reserve the right to refuse housing to any dog at our sole discretion for any reason. Other pets are considered on a case by case basis and are accepted at the discretion of the management team.

You are responsible for any property damage, cleaning costs, personal injury, pest control, or noise disturbance caused by your pet. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners, and its operator for any claim, demand, or judgment associated in any way with damages attributable to your pet. The hotel reserves the right to charge your account commensurate with the estimated cost of such damages. If your pet has a urine or stool accident the cleaning charge is $200.00.

Due to the current potential health concerns of COVID-19, we are taking extra precautions to ensure a clean and healthy stay for our guests.  Please review all information below.

  • Local Closures: Until Further Notice, Southern California Edison has closed Shaver Lake and ALL other surrounding lake's launch ramps, parking lots and public restrooms. The Snow Parks have also been closed.

  • No Cable: We currently have No Cable on the East side of the property. All accommodations are equipped with a DVD/Blu-ray Player, rent ours or bring your own.
  • No Continental Breakfast: To prevent social gathering we have temporarily not offering continental breakfast
  • Food & Drink: Many Restaurants are open for pick up or delivery or buy groceries at Kens Market.
  • Safety: While on the property, please practice social distancing, wash hands regularly and take all precautions to protect yourselves and others.
